Quanex is looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Associate to join our team in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing all duties necessary to process accounts payable invoices for payment, accounts receivable receipts, and maintain other records. This role will also allow you a variety of work throughout the week and be a part of a great team!
What's attractive about the position?
* Pay: $20.50-$30.50 per hour
* Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (hours may be flexible)
* On-site: St. Cloud, MN
What Success Looks Like:
* Receive and process all Division HQ invoices, verify billing, relay invoices for approval, and process weekly ACH/checks.
* Assist with establishment of new customers.
* File and maintain A/P invoices and files.
* Understand and apply all internal SOX controls as they relate to AP/AR.
* Perform monthly/quarterly sales tax returns, determine whether sales tax should be charged on all invoices, send out letters or exemption forms, and complete monthly/annual closeouts for AP.
* Be a team player, have a positive attitude, and enjoy a variety of work.
Your Credentials:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Associate degree in Accounting or higher is preferred.
* 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products
* ERP system knowledge
* Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
