Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technology Education Teacher to join our team at South Brunswick High School in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Technology Education, a strong work ethic, a creative mindset, and the ability to engage and inspire High School students. The applicant should have an interest and background in the areas of design and problem solving, critical thinking, electronics and robotics, and rapid prototyping (CNC machine, 3D printers, laser engravers, etc.)

Responsibilities:
- Planning and instruction as per district curriculum.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the NJ Technology Education standards and curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage and challenge students in the classroom.
- Create and manage a safe and effective learning environment that fosters student growth and success.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to promote student achievement and positive school culture.
- Stay up-to-date with current technology and education trends and implement them in the classroom.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community.
Qualifications:
- NJ Teacher of Industrial Arts or NJ Teacher of Technology.
- NJ Technology Education Endorsement Code #1810.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with various technologies, including design and problem solving, critical thinking, electronics and robotics, and rapid prototyping (CNC machine, 3D printers, laser engravers, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
