SalaryResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Enforcing city, county, state, and federal laws and ordinances concerning animals
- Conducting investigations and inspections
- Issuing warnings, tickets, and citations
- Educating the public about relevant animal regulations and humane animal care
Position requirements:
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Must be able to follow instructions and communicate well with other employees
- Bending, kneeling, physical lifting (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds)
- Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and must have a passion for animals and animal welfare
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Weekend, on-call, and holiday shifts required
- Must be able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work independently and self-manage
- Must be professional and well organized
- Bi-lingual preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
