SalaryWe are seeking a self-motivated, responsible team member for our dog and cat boarding facility and grooming salon. Animal health and well-being is our top priority. We need someone with the patience and attention to detail to ensure each animal is receiving the individualized care they need to be comfortable and happy.

Previous animal care experience is preferred but not required. Most weekends and holidays are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Feeding and monitoring eating habits
- Exercising and supervising communal playtimes
- Bathing, drying and assisting the grooming department
- Cleaning up urine and feces, maintaining cleanliness of boarding areas
- Disinfecting indoors and outside
- Communicating with clients and other team members
- Daily housekeeping (laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.)
- Providing tours to prospective clients
- Some receptionist work may be included
- Any duties that may be assigned by management
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be comfortable handling all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs
- Must be able to handle using disinfectants and cleaning up urine and feces
- Must be comfortable working in all outdoor conditions
- Must work well with people and animals
- Must have keen observation skills to notice an animal in discomfort
- Must be able to lift heavy objects in excessive of 40 pounds
