The incumbent is responsible for developing and delivering training on all aspects of ANIMAL CARE, safety, and departmental processes. This position will also develop assessment and evaluation tools, which he/she will use to create training plans for staff to aid in their development.

Required Education Bachelor's If Other Required Education, please specify Bachelor's degree, LAT Certification required, Preferred CMAR certification Discipline(s) Certifications/Licenses Required LAT Certification, Preferred CMAR Certification Indicate the minimum number of years required to do the job 4 Indicate the type of experience required to do the job Laboratory animal facility Indicate if any combination of specific experience, training and education may be substituted for the required education or experience 4 years' experience in a laboratory animal facility with at least 2 of the 4 years training employees may substitute for the Bachelor's Degree (other relevant teaching/ educational experiences may substitute for the experience on a year by year basis)
An additional year of experience training employees in laboratory animal facility may substitute for the LAT certification
