Job Summary

 

We are seeking anAnimal Caretaker I for ourInsourcing Solutionssite located inHamilton, MT. 

 

As the Animal Caretaker I, you will be working in ABSL 2-3 facility environments to perform a variety of duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, routine preventative maintenance, and repair of caging materials and autoclaves.

 

Additional responsibilities include: 

  • Maintaining cagewash and animal holding facilities in a clean and organized manner 
  • Operating equipment and performing general housekeeping 
  • General Animal Care duties  
  • Receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply orders 
  • Preparing and submitting all required written records, charts, logs, and inventories 
  • Work actively with customers to address requests, inquiries, and complaints 
  • Provide technical assistance
Job Qualifications

The following are minimum requirements related to the Animal Caretaker I position: 

  • High school diploma/GED 
  • ALAT certification, or ability to obtain certification within one year of eligibility 
  • Experience and/or training working with mechanical equipment preferred   

 

The pay for this position is $22.00 USD per hour.
