This role reports to the Director of Data & Analytics and will require a weekly in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

As a company that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, Away seeks individuals of all backgrounds and experiences to apply for this opportunity. We’re creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Our customers are global and diverse, so we’re building a team that is too. Through initiatives like our Employee Resource Groups, anti-racism training, and bias prevention initiatives, we’re building the cultural foundation that gives people the emotional and physical space to bring their authentic selves to work.

What you’ll do as an Analytics Engineer:

  • Work in tandem with the Global Supply Chain and FP&A teams, leveraging data analytics to inform and guide strategic decisions across the organization

  • Lead the development and enhancement of analytical dashboards, focusing on both the transformation of data and the delivery of comprehensive insights for strategic supply chain management

  • Drive the development and implementation of processes and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of both FP&A and Global Supply Chain operations

  • Adapt and respond swiftly to new business opportunities and developments with relevant data-driven strategies

  • Collaborate closely with FP&A and other departments to analyze and optimize supply chain operational spend, sharing key insights for informed decision-making

  • Lead the transformation of complex data into accessible, visually appealing, and actionable insights for various stakeholders

  • Guide the integration and use of ERP and other data systems, ensuring they provide valuable insights for business operations

Who you are:

  • You possess at least four years of professional experience in analytics, ideally within supply chain management or a related field

  • Proficient in advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, _dbt, BI tools) and familiar with data warehousing technologies like Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery

  • You possess a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics and financial management, especially in a direct-to-consumer business context

  • Skilled at identifying areas for improvement and leading the charge in implementing innovative, data-driven solutions

  • You excel at seeing the bigger picture, making strategic decisions that drive value and efficiency

  • Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude

  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

  • Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)

Compensation Package:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards program that also includes benefits, bonus, equity and various social and professional investment opportunities at Away.
