Description Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Nutrition Production Scheduler. As a Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in scrutinizing production data, devising streamlined packaging schedules, and guaranteeing the punctual delivery of our Infant Formula products. In this capacity, you will work closely with diverse stakeholders to refine our production operations and elevate overall customer contentment. The Nutrition Production Scheduler must be open to a hybrid work arrangement, which includes spending a minimum of two days per week working on-site at the Perrigo Facility. This flexibility is essential to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration and project management, while also accommodating the evolving needs of the role and the organization.
Scope of the Role

  • Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure efficient utilization of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with Various Departments: Collaborate with production, procurement, inventory management, and quality assurance teams to optimize production plans and ensure on-time delivery of products.
  • Capacity Analysis: Monitor production capacities and adjust schedules as needed to meet production targets and customer demands. Engage in cross-functional collaboration to assess and enhance production capabilities.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels collaborating with our Inventory management team.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that production schedules align with quality control standards and regulatory requirements, working closely with the quality assurance team.
  • Problem Solving: Address any production issues or delays by adjusting schedules and resource allocation as necessary, while involving various departments in finding solutions.
  • Communication: Keep all relevant departments and personnel informed about changes to production schedules and any potential issues that may impact production timelines, facilitating efficient cross-functional communication.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain production reports and performance metrics to track and analyze production efficiency, sharing findings with relevant teams to inform decision-making and project management.

Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Production Scheduling software / SAP is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
