Job title: Analyst - International Trade
An excellent opportunity to be part of a leading International Trade practice group supporting a diverse team of lawyers across various time zones to accomplish deadline driven projects for ongoing International Trade disputes. As a Trade Analyst, you will be offered the chance to be involved in all facets of some of the most significant International Trade disputes across the globe in a wide variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Support the International Trade Group in representing clients in antidumping (“AD”) and countervailing duty (“CVD”) proceedings conducted by the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. International Trade Commission.
- Interact with clients’ internal accounting, finance and trade specialists to collect, organize, and analyze large sets of economic, accounting and financial data to assess business and financial information required to respond to DOC investigation questionnaires.
- Apply SAP, SAS and other ERP management accounting system utilities to extract and compile clients’ cost and sales data. Utilize SAS and Excel advanced programming tools to prepare calculated values and AD margins for submission to DOC.
- Collaborate in teams with attorneys, other analysts and external experts in drafting of factual and legal arguments for preparation of case briefs, rebuttals and DOC on-site verifications.
