Under the direction of the Director, Integrated Transitional Care, the Analyst II – Utilization Management - CCA is responsible for providing technical and analytical support to assist with CCA UM Inpatient & Specialty Department, reporting activities and special projects. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and updating Departmental reports and special projects. The Analyst II is responsible for managing assigned projects while providing technical based project support to the Covered California Inpatient and Specialty Utilization Management Department. Working knowledge of managed care including HEDIS and CAHPs, CMS, DMHC and NCQA regulations health plan regulations. Well informed of the resources available in the Inland Empire to support Members (community resources, BH programs, waiver, and grant programs). Knowledge of Commercial Managed Care coverage required.

Education & Experience
- Three (3) years’ experience required in a managed care environment, including extensive use of MS Excel at an expert level and ability to create complex spreadsheets. Experience required in generating reports and preparing charts and graphs.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution required.
Key Qualifications
- Must have a valid California Driver's license and valid automobile insurance. Must qualify and maintain driving record to drive company vehicles based on IEHP insurance standards of no more than three (3) points.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word and Excel essential. Preferably familiar with Utilization Management activities to include CMS, NCQA and DHCS regulatory requirements.
