Overview

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional New College Grads to join our Engineering teams across various US locations such as San Jose (CA), Hillsboro (OR), Agoura Hills (CA), Chapel Hills (NC), and Atlanta (GA). Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

 

As an Associate Member of Technical Staff (AMTS), the candidate will be reporting to the designated Engineering Manager and is a Full-Time position. The candidate will be joining a team to work on cutting edge memory and silicon IP technology shaping the future of data centers and high-performance systems.

 

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities
  • Design analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks used in Rambus products
  • Create schematic, perform simulation and analysis for critical electrical and timing parameters
  • Work with layout team to demonstrate post extraction circuit performance
  • Work with experienced designers and managers to show that circuits meets all specification
Qualifications
  • BS degree in electrical/electronics with some relevant experience
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of circuit design and analysis
  • Proficient with design tools like Virtuosuo, spice/spectre simulators
  • Strongly motivated to learn and grow while working with experienced designer
  • Practical knowledge of circuit design in DSM process nodes smaller than 22nm are very desirable
  • Sound knowledge of basic building blocks like bias generation, on-chip regulation, and PLL is desirable
  • Experience in designing memory interfaces such as DDR4/5 or serial links such as USB/PCIE/SATA/Display Port is desirable
  • Experience working in leading R&D and future technology development projects is desirable
  • Good written and verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross functional and globally dispersed team

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership.

 

The US salary range for this full-time position is $77,900 to $144,700.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
