Job Description:
As an Automotive Designer at H2O Amphibious, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive design. You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, marketers, and executives to create and redesign concept sketches, 3D models, and prototypes that embody our vision for the next generation of vehicles. From ideation to execution, you will leverage your creative prowess and technical expertise to develop innovative designs that captivate consumers and push the boundaries of what is possible in automotive design.

Responsibilities:

• Develop concept sketches and renderings that communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Create detailed 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, and Creo Parametric or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design concepts align with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.
• Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from internal teams, clients, and focus groups.
• Support the development of physical prototypes and mockups for testing and validation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Designer, preferably within the automotive industry or a design consultancy.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Alias, Rhino, or CATIA etc...
• Strong sketching and visualization skills, with the ability to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Knowledge of automotive design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Creative thinking and a passion for innovation, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Portfolio showcasing your design work, including sketches, renderings, and 3D models.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
