Summary: Industrial Refrigeration Maintenanceand repairs, able to maintain, diagnose and repair the industrial refrigerationsystem and controls, along with other maintenance issues relating to hydraulic,electrical, welding, pipe fitting, machine installation, lights, plumbing,
Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration System PMmaintenance and repairs, and heating & air conditioning and all otherequipment assigned to them.
Also responsible for guiding and developingassociates in the Building Maintenance Mechanic I, II, IIIand Helper positions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following, but not restricted to;
Observes mechanical devices in operation;listens to their sounds for proper operation or to locate any causes oftrouble.
Properly service or perform preventativemaintenance on the equipment or machines based on manufacture requirements orguidelines. Lubricates and cleansparts. Dismantles devices to gain accessto and remove defective parts. Examinesform and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspects used parts to determine changes indimensional requirements. Adjustsfunctional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structuralparts in devices. Starts devices to testtheir performance.
Sets up and operate industrial equipmentand tools to make and repair equipment and install parts.
Maintain the appropriate service and repairdocumentation required by law and company policy for the refrigeration system.
Lighting, plumbing, heating & airconditioning and all other equipment and PM Maintenance assigned to them.
Initiates purchase order for parts andmachines.
Other duties may be assigned.

Must be at least 25 years of age
Education/Experience:
Four year college, Technical or vocationalschool, or university program certificate; or a minimum of 5 years relatedexperience and/or
training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, anindividual should have basic computer knowledge and be able to learn and usethe
maintenance database software and otherprogram, such as; VLM, Word and Excel.
Certificates and Licenses:
CFC Refrigeration certifications isrequired
Driver's license
Industrial equipment certifications
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpretgeneral professional journals, technical manuals
or procedures, or governmentalregulations. Ability to write reports,business correspondence, and procedure
manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions frommanagers, vendors and
our customers.
Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems anddeal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Ability tointerpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram,
or schedule form.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
