Department Overview

TD AML Program Overview and Expectations
TD's objective is to employ highly talented and motivated individuals to meet our obligations to prevent, detect and report money laundering, terrorist financing and other illicit activities. The AML Program is designed to manage AML risk in an integrated manner across products, business lines and geographies, meet regulatory obligations and expectations and mitigate legal, financial, compliance and reputational risk in the most effective manner possible.
Individuals who join the team should not only demonstrate subject matter expertise and a proven track record of implementing and managing key AML functions, but also a drive for excellence. Job Details

The AML Operations Rep II provides a broad range of AML operational support and/or performs general to specialized money laundering detection activities, reviews transactions and/or other processing activities for own functional area within AML Operations.

Job Requirements

  • Works within generally defined guidelines, accountable for completing a range of transactions or activities that involve single to multiple steps and several systems or applications
  • Transactions and activities require process knowledge for own area of expertise and could be characterized by low to moderate risk
  • Takes a broad perspective to identify and resolve issues that are atypical, infrequent or not covered by stated processes
  • Typically has interaction with internal customers/partners
  • Focus of work is on the completion of day to day or weekly processes or activities however may include monthly routine activities
  • Completes work with limited degree of supervision
  • Requires full proficiency gained through job related training to perform a range of duties, and has working level knowledge of the business unit / operational functions as well as regulatory issues/requirements for jurisdictions supported
  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • 0+ years relevant experience
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
  • Ability to pay high attention to details
