Honeywell is hiring for an Industrial Autonomous (IA) Growth Leader. The Industrial Autonomous (IA) BusinessDevelopment Leader will lead growth efforts of Industrial AutonomousBusiness by driving key sales opportunities, strategic pursuits and partnershipinitiatives which are critical to market growth, profitability and meeting thePole AOP.  The Leader should be able to workin collaboration with the Account Managers to assess portfolio opportunities, theneeds and challenges of the customer in Digital Transformation, make theinitial presentation, set-up discovery workshop with the customer and thenengage the necessary experts from the IA team to help develop a Digital Roadmapfor the customer.

You will be one of the driving forces for Honeywell achieving adominant market position in providing solutions and services for IndustrialAutonomous and Digital Operations.  AmericasIA Business Development Leader should have significant domain knowledge of the Processindustry, including its key challenges as well as the technology driversinfluencing the adoption of Digital Transformation which includes IT-OTIntegration, advanced software & automation solutions.  The Leader will be instrumental in generatingnew Pipeline (4X of AOP target), identifying key target accounts across keyverticals who have digitalization plans and budget to spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage all relationships with customers in the Industrial Autonomous Pursuits.
  • Work with AMs, Vertical Business Development and IA leadership to build a healthy pipeline of Opportunities for rapid growth in Americas.
  • Work closely with AM and Vertical Leaders to identify the pursuits and categorize them as Standard Vertical IA solution or Multi-year Program and then ensure that the team works on the opportunity accordingly.
  • Work closely with the Americas Business Management Consultant and Global Solution Consultants to engage customers, conduct discovery workshops and ORCA/IRA and other consultative assignments.
  • Drive sales in meeting pole sales targets.
  • Drive sales teams for strong growth in pipeline and project wins.
  • Identify early adopter customers for Proof of Concept, Pilot projects, VOCs of the new technologies which the IA team plans to bring to market.
  • Ensure proper SFDC categorization, opportunity identification and ensuring the pursuits are properly resourced for successful win.
  • Ensure continuous engagement with Marketing, Strategy, Marcom and participate in seminars and industry events to represent Honeywell in the Industrial Autonomous space
YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years-experience in the Process Industry - Oil and Gas, Mining, Refining, Petchem
  • Strong understanding of Industrial Automation technologies and software solutions, including DCS, SCADA, HMI, APC, APM.
  • Demonstrated strong business sense with leadership and co-ordination across multiple stakeholders to bring together a winning team
  • Success leading business development, sales and account management
  • Demonstrated skills to team building and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to forge solid relationships (externally & internally) and lead across a broad and geographically dispersed business
  • Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision
  • Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
  • Demonstrated to behave and communicate to team sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Proven effectiveness in a highly matrixed environment
