JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
Be part of our Same Day Surgery Center Team in Maple Grove with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Center(s) as needed.
We are looking for team members to support our growing services, with opportunities to provide patient care in our Surgery Center(s). We have a fast-paced multi-specialty Surgical Center. Our team is looking for candidates with a positive outlook and ability to work well on a team.
The RN - Pre-operative, Post-operative, PACU, PPA position provides direct patient care in ambulatory settings. Patient care may be a direct activity of the RN, or it may be to coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy. Previous experience preferred in the designated area.

- Rotating Late Shifts
- Occasional travel to alternate sites per rotation
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
- ACLS and PALS Certifications required (or willing to obtain within 3 months)
- Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pre/Post/PACU, Inpatient, ER, or ICU experience desired
