Position Summary

Perform under direct supervision and according to established guidelines and procedures, routine and complex procedures to obtain data for use in the clinical diagnosis of disorders of the nervous system in at least one of the following modalities of Neurodiagnostics: Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked Potentials (EP), Epilepsy Monitoring and Polysomnography (PSG), or Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS). Perform duties in various diagnostic and research areas as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• Tech would be responsible for calling the patient to schedule setup time, confirm the patient's address, and give a brief explanation of the procedure.
• Be the main point of contact for the patient while the test is running (the majority of tests are 72 hours).
• Return to patient's home after study is complete and disconnect patient.
• Upload the study from the unit to our cloud database after disconnecting.
• Maintain, calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot EEG equipment.

Education and Knowledge requirements

• Experience performing EEG setups with individual electrodes.
• Experience with LTM EEGs with Collodion II is preferable, but not required
• R. EEG is preferred, but not required.
• A driver's license is required.
• Wi-Fi in your home is required for uploading the study to the cloud after completion.
• Cell phones are required to contact patients.
• Good Patient Service is a must.
