Amazon Delivery Driver - 401K/Weekly Bonus

Package Pros Logistics uses company-provided vans to load, transport and deliver packages to residents and businesses as an official Delivery Service Partner for Amazon. This position is for those who desire to provide high levels of customer service, have a great team first attitude and possess a STRONG WORK ETHIC. You must be able to work on your own and thrive in a fast-paced environment, make quick decisions, place safety first and enjoy being rewarded for your performance. Each team member understands our company commitments to SAFETY, QUALITY AND EFFICIENCY.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- MUST BE 21 years of age
- Always represent the Company in a professional manner
- Care for each company vehicle with respect and with the utmost safety and cleanliness in mind.
- Drive van from home office to designated customer
- Use hand-held device for routing information, customer delivery information, to communicate with home office/dispatch and to track
- Load and unload packages into/out of van, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to easily get in and out of the van, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Inspect van equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas and oil
- Maintain contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions if unclear or if problems
- Secure packages to ensure no damage is caused to customer
- Follow all safety rules and company policies
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Customer Service – is always professional with anyone at the customer location.
- Always Represents the company in a service-oriented and courteous manner.
- No experience required. Previous delivery experience can lead to a higher starting wage.
- Must be comfortable using mobile technology in a safe, efficient and accurate way.
- Must adhere to all safety and security procedures. Determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, as required. Report potentially unsafe conditions immediately. Uses vehicle and all provided work material,
- Is consistently at work for scheduled shift and is on time or early. Completes work in a timely manner and within the standards outlined by the Company.
- Follows instructions and responds to management direction. Takes responsibility for own actions. Keeps commitments. Completes tasks on time or notifies supervisor, in advance, if a commitment is at risk.
- Meets productivity and service standards
- Ability to learn, or knowledge of, all equipment in Company vehicles.
- Work together with co-workers to achieve the overall customer service goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems or better serve all drivers and/or improve productivity.
- Always practice safe work ethics and procedures.
- Effectively communicates through radios and telephones with Dispatch to ensure contact status and locations.
- Must possess excellent time management and communication skills.
- Assumes related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Licenses:
- Valid State Driver’s License is Required.
- No CDL required
Work Authorization Requirements:
- United States Work Authorization is Required.
- Must be 21+ years old to apply.
- Must have a clean driving record and pass a DMV records check.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
