Position Summary:


As the Amazon Customer Facing Supply Chain Supervisor you will work closely with the Manager on developing distribution strategies for the Amazon business-to-retail and retail e-Commerce channels. Together, you will apply the best practices in the industry to ensure exceptional customer service while optimizing total order fulfillment costs.


You will also be responsible for building and recommending operational solutions that provide a distinct competitive advantage. In addition, you will have a strong focus on innovation, exploring new possibilities to creating distribution solutions.


Lastly, you will be focused on building and leading a highly engaged and empowered CFSC Amazon team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure outstanding customer service while maximizing cost efficiencies in the "cost to serve" for all Amazon business models channels. This will be achieved through the following actions:
    • Develop and implement target values for service and cost key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Collaborate and partner in the development of strategies, design, and definition of a sustainable distribution network that can adapt to changes within the retail arena.
    • Find creative solutions to address short-term logistical and chargeback issues while creating long-term sustainable strategies that focus on preventive measures.
    • When necessary, collaborate with the Nestle legal team to fulfill legal obligations. Embrace continuous excellence and best practices.
  • Partner and collaborate with internal Amazon teams (SC/Operations, E-Comm, and Finance) to ensure the growth of the business and smooth execution of retail strategies. This includes developing and implementing sustainable long-term plans while considering immediate needs. This will be achieved through the following actions:
    • Oversee and manage day-to-day order fulfillment for the Amazon model with CF Specialists. Ensure all orders are processed and sent to the 3PL in a timely manner, meeting all ship windows.
    • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders such as DSP, IDP, and Nespresso Logistics Teams.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, 3PL, and Supply Chain.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service, Supply Chain efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Handle ad hoc reports and projects.
  • The goal is to deliver Supply Chain value creation for Nespresso and our customers. This involves partnering with customers and 3PL on establishing KPIs, collaborating on targets, and reporting performance against these targets to the broader business.
  • In collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain, define and lead a common customer Supply Chain strategy.
  • Identify, analyze, design, and implement various logistics/Supply Chain opportunities both internally and externally with our customers to continuously improve service levels and efficiencies.
  • Actively participate in supply planning/forecasting to determine future coffee/aero stock needs for order fulfillment.
  • Partner with DSP and Trade forecasting teams to ensure coffee inventory is available for timely order fulfillment.
  • Ensure fill rates and on-time delivery based on customers' purchase orders.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; in Business or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in the retail, wholesale, and/or Supply Chain related field is required. Experience with Amazon is a plus.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange and Warehouse Management Systems is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • The ability to develop and maintain key internal relationships effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • This role may require up to 20% travel.

The approximate pay range for this position is $105,000.00 to $115,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
