Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and take orders from guests
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy of orders and address any issues or special requests
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest concerns or inquiries
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for guest relations
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitate work areas
