Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
- Accurately serve guests according to modifcations allergies, and know the menu matrix
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with customers and addressing any concerns or issues
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas and workstations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, minimum of 2 years
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
