Coastal Carolina University (CCU) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator.

Responsibilities:• Coordinate and execute activities of the CCU Office of Alumni Engagement
• Develop and implement programs, outreach initiatives, and engagement activities to keep alumni informed, educated, and connected with CCU
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with alumni, locally and nationally
• Plan and organize events to maximize opportunities for engagement and networking
• Utilize effective record-keeping and time-management skills to ensure seamless coordination of alumni-related activities
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience with social media strategy, building and maintaining relationships is preferred.

Alumni/Development Coordinator I (CC10/61122304/FTE-S00991P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 04. Salary range: $31,561.00 (minimum) – $58,393.00 (maximum). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. This position will be required to work some nights, and weekends and travel throughout the year.
A bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with social media strategy and building and maintaining relationships.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Experience with event planning, social media strategy, and building and maintaining relationships. Detail-oriented with the ability to work with limited supervision and think critically. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional comments regarding this position:This position will be required to work some nights, and weekends and travel throughout the year. Candidates will demonstrate an understanding of Higher Education advancement work.
