This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Allergy RN Trainer to assume responsibility for allergy staff recruitment, training, auditing, and providing oversight to 25 busy ENT Practices in the South Florida area for 40 Allergy technicians and nurses. Must be a self-starter, independent, organized individual looking for a full-time Monday - Friday position for our Allergy Clinical Department in the Boca Raton area.

Key responsibilities:

Collaborates with physician partners to provide effective and successful plans regarding operations of allergy treatment.

New-hire orientation/training and Clinical staff introduction of key clinical concepts, practices, and allergy protocols.

Work collaboratively with the Allergy Director and Operations Team to create and update new EMR training materials/templates (checklists, flowcharts, screen shots, training videos etc.)

Provides "Hands-on" clinical training and subsequent "Shadowing" to ensure proper application of key clinical and technical concepts/Allergy protocols.

Provides leadership and direction to ensure overall performance and productivity of the allergy team.

Assist with formula verification and serum mixing when needed.

Works closely with Care Center Managers to develop individual staff abilities by coaching, mentoring, and communicating any performance areas for improvement needed. Ensures compliance with Federal and State Statues and Health and Human Services alongside our policies, procedures, guidelines, and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse
  • 5 years progressive allergy and management experience.
  • Experience in EMR systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to lead and work in a team environment.

Provides "Big picture" orientation, along with a positive, can-do, solution oriented, attitude and ability to think "outside-the-box", remove roadblocks and create opportunities.

Physical Demands:

Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Local Travel may be needed for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
