Job Summary:

Set-up and operate Manual grinding equipment in a skillful and efficient manner.

Position Responsibilities

• Must be educated and trained to read blueprints and interpret engineering instructions required to produce parts consistently to extreme tolerances.
• Must have high understanding of GD&T.
• Must be proficient with both OD and ID grinding techniques.
• Analyze and debug new grinding methods.
• Perform calculations and use precision inspection equipment to verify that all quality requirements are met.
• Understand and follow the safety rules including keeping a neat and clean work area.
• Diligently perform all duties in a highly productive manner
• Check and maintain oil and coolant levels on a daily basis

Position Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational School with hands on training at school or in a machine shop
• 5+ years
• A typical education would be high school or vocational school with hands on training at school or in a machine shop.
• Team player, self motivated
