Position Summary: Specialty Blends Winery is seeking a motivated and dedicated Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth in the Houston, Texas area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Effectively communicate our product offerings and their unique selling points to potential clients.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the quality and benefits of our wine and daiquiri mix products.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
- Identify and evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt and improve sales efforts.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the company and products.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and initiatives that support sales efforts.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and order processing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the beverage, food or alcohol industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Results-driven, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with the Houston, Texas area and its market dynamics is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the designated sales territory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
