Alarm Monitor

Alarm Monitor Dispatch Operators (AMDO) provide a variety of dispatch services for the Center for Disaster Preparedness contract.

• Ensures compliance with the contract SOW: orders, policies, procedures and operations
• Monitors and takes the appropriate response to the campus electronic security systems and building automation systems: access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm, video surveillance, building utilities, elevator monitoring, etc.
• Ensures compliance with the contract SOW: orders, policies, procedures and operations
• Receives calls via the radio and telephone
• Dispatch security personnel and report discrepancies for corrective action as needed
• Issue and account for keys and locks
• Makes notification to key members of the CDP staff and external support agencies (fire, police department).
• Prepares, generates, distributes, and files the daily security staff journal on each shift
• Troubleshoot and correct electronic security system malfunctions as needed
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion
• Perform other duties as assigned.
