JOB SUMMARY
Provides general maintenance and repairs of grounds, buildings, and equipment. Fuels aircraft, directs aircraft to parking, and lends general support to airport customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Opens and secures building and contents.
Performs general maintenance and repairs of airport grounds, buildings, hangars, equipment, and lighting.
Performs snow removal and weed control when required.
Fuels aircraft, assists with self-service fueling, and maintains a daily record of fuel tanks.
Electronically processes credit cards.
Performs daily trash removal and occasional light cleaning of office, Pilot Lounge, and restrooms.
Professionally communicates with pilots over a radio to assist with parking and fueling operations.
Answers incoming calls and assists customers with their inquiries.
Provides cordial, responsive, and accurate customer service.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED, one (1) year experience in prior maintenance and good communication skills required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Possession of a Class C Maryland Motor Vehicle Operator’s License (or the equivalent from another issuing state) or the ability to obtain such a license within thirty (30) days of employment to position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly walk, stand or stoop. Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in both inside and outside weather conditions. This position requires working with aviation gasoline which is hazardous material and extremely flammable. Some work is performed on or adjacent to Aircraft Operations Area; situational awareness skills are essential for applicant.
