Aircraft Tooling Room Supervisor

Aerotek Aviation is hiring a Supervisor to manager the Aircraft tool room operations for a full time opportunity in Philadelphia, PA.

• Pay Rate: $35-40/hr Based on Experience
• NON EXEMPT POSITION - overtime is required
• Day Shift Position

Description:

• Ensures proper production tool management, in accordance with procedures and policies.
• Oversees the process associated with Issues, receives, and storage of production tools, hand tools and other test equipment.
• Oversees the supervision of 5-6 tool room support direct reports.
• Creates and maintains tool logs.
• Maintains inventory of all tools.
• Generates required paperwork for ordering new, replacement or repair of production tools.
• Maintains/monitors the calibration program for all production tools.
• Requires the ability to read and interprets tool drawings.
• Inspects and approves tools per production quality requirements.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree
• 5+ years experience supervising or managing a Stores room or Tool Room/Crib environment.
• Prior experience managing or supervising direct reports.
• Prior experience using SAP
• Receipt & Inventory management experience
• Repair Parts Management
• Prior experience working with and communicating with Suppliers.
• Experience using Microsoft Applications
• Prior aircraft / aerospace experience is a plus.
