Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on single engine aircraft. This is a critical role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our fleet.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and avionics
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Perform repairs as needed
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to document work performed and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
- Experience as an Aircraft Mechanic
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, including avionics, electrical, hydraulics, and engines
- Familiarity with Computer software is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
