Summary
In the Heavy Maintenance Representative role, IAero Airways is seeking a highly dedicated individual who will serve as a liaison between vendors and Materials department to ensure its continued growth and performance.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor Heavy Maintenance vendors to ensure on-time/on-budget completion of scheduled maintenance visits.
- Communicate with DOM, DQC and Manager of Heavy Maintenance regarding problems and issues concerning the heavy check and airworthiness, performance and any potential for delay in the completion of the work.
- Provides the DOM and Manager of Heavy Maintenance daily updates on work progress.
- Works in conjunction with Materials department to ensure required materials are present when needed for timely completion of maintenance visits.
- Act as liaison between the Contract Maintenance Provider and IAero Airways.
- Track the performance of the heavy MX and Inspection visit.
- Evaluate technical problems when necessary, and assist in their resolution.
- Works closely with the Manager of Technical Services and the manager of Heavy maintenance in order to resolve any potential issues.
- Track the labor hours and material expenditures in process during the check and monitor the billing by the vendor.
- Manage and conduct daily production meeting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Maintenance, Manager of Heavy Maintenance and/or an officer of the company.
Qualifications
- Current and valid FAA Airframe and powerplant license
- Prefer 5 years’ experience as a mechanic in an MRO environment.
- In possession of a valid passport and Driver license and able to travel and work extended hours.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.

Must have flexible schedule, 17days On- 13 days Off, Shift days assigned by Station Manager at Start Date, Holidays & Weekends as required.
