Job Description:
- Responsible for the assembly of complete prototype and production aircrafts, and test articles by installing a variety of sheet metal, Composite and/or machined assemblies for new or modified articles according to engineering instructions.
- Responsible for supporting lesser grade team members in the proper assembly and installation of major aircraft assemblies, as required to meet engineering and schedule objectives.
- Responsible for FO prevention in all articles and aircrafts that they are assigned to.
- Familiar with the proper use of assembly tooling and fixtures, as well as various precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, scales, and all types of gages.
- May build shop-aids, jigs, and fixtures for Experimental projects.
- Responsible for own work.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Skills, Education & Qualifications:
- High School or GED equivalent
- Minimum 3 to 5 years sheet metal airframe assembly experience required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.24 - $39.00 per hour
