Aircraft Maintenance Technician Opportunity - West Palm Beach, FL

These roles will sit at our headquarters at Palm Beach International Airport.

- 8:00am-4:30pm Monday–Friday.
- 8:00am-8:30pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- 4:00pm-4:00am or 6:00pm-6:00am ((typical 4 days schedule – some flexibility)
What will you be responsible for?
- Empire A&P Technicians will be responsible for knowing, understanding, and accomplishing all required steps associated with compliance of the maintenance work scope assigned.
- Ensuring all work is accomplished in accordance with the Company policies and procedures (RSQCM), manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations.
- Documenting maintenance discrepancies and taking necessary actions to correct the items.
- Immediately notifying the Lead Mechanic of any problem areas such as parts, materials, workmanship, or airworthiness issues.
- Providing the Lead Mechanic with a detailed report of work progression and open items to be included in the shift turnover log.
- Proper tagging of Aircraft components, parts, and panels appropriately stored including racks by aircraft.
- Maintaining work areas, buildings, and equipment which are utilized for aircraft maintenance in a safe, clean, and operative condition.
- Successful candidates should have sufficient hand tools to perform maintenance duties.
- Performing other duties as directed by the Lead Mechanic.
- The Certified Aircraft Mechanic may delegate duties to any qualified assistant; however, such delegation does not relieve the Aircraft Mechanic of overall responsibility.
- Candidates should be able to physically perform climbing, stooping, stretching, walking or standing for lengthy periods of time, etc. for operations related to the job and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations.
- Airframe and Powerplant license required.
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic and/or inspector for large, multi-engine jet aircraft.
- Ability to understand and interpret aircraft technical data.
- Effective communication in English, oral and written.
- Ability to successfully work with others as part of a team in order to achieve established goals.
- Available for foreign and domestic travel, as needed.
Licenses/Certifications Required:
- Valid and current Airframe and Powerplant License
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Passport
