Vacation Rental Cleaner/Hospitality Host in Girdwood and Anchorage

We pay $15 per hour for training. After a satisfactory inspection of your clean we pay $20 per hour for Anchorage and $25 per hour for Girdwood.

An A-Player for the role of Cleaner/Hospitality Host is someone who daily embodies a true dedication to his/her/their contribution to the best guest experience we can deliver. This person is passionate about being part of a high-energy, innovative company that cares about guest experiences and the growth of the Alaska travel market to include more diversity.

Cleaner/Hospitality Host is an Integral role in our company to achieve consistent 5-star guest reviews, especially in the cleaning and amenities categories. The primary role is to clean and prepare the units for new guest arrivals, including sweeping or shoveling entryways. Additionally, there are preparation, administrative, and inventory duties. These include timelines, use of provided tools including our cleaning application, ability to take photos, tracking and handling of guest items left behind, communication with management, and stocking guest consumables. All tasks are crucial to delivering world-class experiences for our guests.

We will provide training on all aspects of the job.

Success in this role will lead to a market reputation that attracts more property owners and enables K Properties to grow. This will provide the opportunity for full-time employment and promotion to other operational positions that you might be interested in.

Details

Hours: We’re looking for about 10 hours per week and someone to ideally grow to a full-time position within our company as our business expands.

We are accepting applications to join our growing K Properties team to provide clean, safe, and comfortable lodging for our guests.

  • Ability to lift 20 lbs, climb stairs, ease of body movements (no joint injuries or anything that would get worse with lots of movement and activity or cause difficulty with cleaning low or high things, for example).

Your clean will involve the following:

Don’t worry! We will train you in every aspect!

  • Check our app for your schedule and management notes.

  • Prioritize assigned units based on check-in times and respond to early and late checkout flags as necessary.

  • Follow our efficient cleaning system to provide a spotless rental for our guests.

  • Clean all surfaces

  • Move furniture to clean under and behind

  • Do laundry

  • Professionally present the property for the guests

  • Create work orders for any maintenance items

  • Notify management of any missing or broken items as well as anything that management should be made aware of. This includes inventory needs.

  • Collect and remove trash and debris including the yard

  • Handle lost and found items according to company procedures

  • Sweep or shovel entryways

  • Stock guest consumable items such as shampoo and toilet paper

  • Complete a self-inspection and checklist

  • Other - situations arise where we will need some extra help, such as changing a light bulb or taking a package to the post office for a guest.
