Air Traffic Control Specialist (Terminal)

You will serve as an AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SPECIALIST (TERMINAL) in the OPERATIONS DIVISION MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR.

Applicants that have previously applied NEED to re-apply to this announcement.Qualifications: GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Control AIR TRAFFIC for busy and complex Federal Airspace for military and civilian AIR TRAFFIC (control tower and radar); manage the administration work of an Air Traffic Control (ATC) facility; formulate and coordinate facility flight check requirements for navigational aids, radar and radio communications equipment; plan and facilitate ATC training activities; and advise facility on compliance with FAA standards.
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintain continual operation of airport movement for a military and civilian AIR TRAFFIC facility (control tower and radar); process the administration work of an Air Traffic Control (ATC) facility; record facility flight check requirements for navigational aids, radar and radio communications equipment; assist with ATC training activities; and verify facility compliance with FAA standards.
