Ensolum, LLC (Ensolum) is seeking an Air Quality & Environmental Specialist to join our expanding air team. This role offers a flexible work arrangement, allowing for either local office or remote work. This is an excellent career opportunity to engage in a wide variety of technical projects including Air Quality permitting, emissions and compliance reporting, interpretation of federal and state regulations, as well as some field work. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a team-oriented approach, actively seeking and implementing solutions for a variety of compliance projects. Strong skills in staff and client interaction are essential to the success of this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Estimating emissions and evaluating sources of air pollution.
- Preparing Air Quality permit applications (NSR & Title V).
- Generating greenhouse gas, emission inventory, and other regulatory reports.
- Conducting due diligence and regulatory gap analyses.
- Advising on emission reduction strategies and air monitoring.
- Conducting site inspections and audits to assist clients in maintaining facility compliance.
- Collaborating with project management to ensure profitability is optimized within the project’s scope and budget.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years’ experience in Air Quality permitting and/or compliance.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and responsible relationships with clients, coworkers, and the community.
- Organized and analytical.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & skilled in managing or manipulating large data sets.
- Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
- BS in environmental science, engineering, meteorology, or another related field.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. Note: personal vehicles will not be used for fieldwork.
- Must be legally eligible to work as a full-time employee in the United States.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening, background checks, and driving screening.
EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING IS A PLUS:
- Familiarity with Air Quality regulations in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, or Texas.
- Experience with oil & gas compliance.
- Experience with environmental compliance beyond Air Quality.
- Air quality modeling experience (AERMOD).
- ACTs database management, SQL query development, or PowerBI

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
