The role of a Media Cutter is to cut media for production. In this role you play a vital role in the team as you will cut the materials such as foam, foil, screen, stainless steel, aluminum metal, and galvanized metal, for production in a timely manner while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. This position requires you to be punctual, reliable, have the ability to perform repetitive tasks, time efficiency, attention to detail, the willingness to learn and the ability to work with other team members.

Essential Functions:

1. Cut media per production schedules.

2. Make correct size, type and amount of Filter Media.

3. Ensure each piece of media is “square” per current production standards.

4. Use labels to identify media and put on cards with media from the same schedule.

5. Meet or exceed established, strict, time standards set forth for each manufacturing process you control.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum Experience required:

None. Manufacturing knowledge preferred but not required.

Skills Required:

Ability to stand 10+ hours, basic math and literacy, proactive, self-starting, willingness to learn, organization, , flexibility, teamwork, reliability, lift and carry up to 50lbs, communication.

There is a 90 day probation period for all employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
