Northrop Grumman SSSD has an opening for an AIM Operations and Integration Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA, and will report directly to the AIM BU VP as a member of the AIM BU leadership team.
As the Manager, you are a member of the AIM BU leadership team and will focus on collaborating across SSSD organizations and broader NG stakeholder organizations ensuring strong coordination at the SSSD level. You will partner with the AIM Program PM(s), Deputy PM(s) and other Program Office staff to lead all aspects of day-to-day Operations across the AIM portfolio, including the following:
Lead the coordination of capital needs and expenditures, representing the BU in facilities and real-estate utilization and future planning across multiple locations / sites, security oversight
Manage hiring and staffing with homerooms, program on-boarding, intern program coordination, ensuring strong partnership and collaboration with functional areas, focusing on Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain functions
Support and drive digital transformation initiatives, ensuring tools are developed and deployed across the BU, tools and computing resource needs are coordinated with IT, and ensuring compliance of health and safety requirements.
Lead and coordinate AIM BU ECP proposals, preparation of ROMs and CROMs, RFIs, and planning of new scope into the BU through the definitization and baselining period
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in engineering, operations, and or project management
Five (5) years of experience in project or program management, operations, leading people, projects, and/or programs across diverse technical teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs/IPT's involving engineering, business, contracts, law, supply chain, production and mission/quality assurance disciplines
Proven ability to lead a high performing team with evidence of being able to create an inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, and inspire diverse and engaged teams
Proven ability to deliver effective communication verbally, written, and through well-crafted presentations across all levels of an organization
Active TS and SCI Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in STEM or an MBA
Experience with cross functional homerooms and Business Units, with proven collaboration and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholder organizations
Demonstrated discipline in meeting cost and schedule targets for technically complex work
Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to make complex critical decisions
