This internship will provide an opportunity to learn and experience key crop protection products from both a technical agronomic perspective and as an applicator. How and why these products are positioned with a grower, when and how they are applied to the crop, and demonstrating the benefits to the grower will all be well understood by the interns at the conclusion of the internship.
Interns will leave the experience with foundational knowledge of herbicide programs from both corn and soybean, as well as basic and highly managed plant health and fertility programs. Basic crop physiology, integrated pest management, and fertility strategies will also be practiced in the field on a daily basis as a part of this experience.
Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required to wear PPE when applying crop protection products in field; Ability to lift fifty pounds; Ability and desire to work outdoors; Ability to operated small tractors and other plot equipment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver License, with acceptable driving record
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous industry experience or in school for an agricultural degree
