Agile Project Manager
Work Location, Franklin Lakes NJ - Hybrid Work model
Duration: 12 months
Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
Position Overview
The Pricing technology program is intended to deploy the integrated ecosystem of processes and technology capabilities that will enable price setting, controls and analytics across pricing, customer quotes, and contracts. To achieve this goal, process, data and system changes and deployments are required across our existing IT platforms Vendavo (Price Mgmt.), Oracle CPQ (Quoting) and Conga CLM (Contract Mgmt.). These capabilities will span across profit analysis, elasticity analysis and price setting; allowing our Marketing users to analyze our price strategies and performance, while also updating prices dynamically.
The scope of this position includes deploying multiple enhancements in an agile release cycle on our existing platforms in addition to expanding our pricing technology capabilities across all remaining BUs and Regions.
Position Requirements
6+ years of senior project management, with a minimum of 2+ years working in an agile product release environment.
Highly preferred, working experience within a Commercial Environment (Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Contracting etc.)
Experience in technology platforms related to pricing, Quote to cash, contract management is highly desired, and knowledge of applications like Vendavo, Oracle CPQ, or Conga is preferred.
Experienced Agile Coach who can not only operate within a Product Model environment but be able to coach and bring in best practices in running Agile Teams.
Responsibilities
Liaison with stakeholders such as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.
coordinate with the Product Owner to provide ranking for this prioritized list with any deadlines that need to be met.
manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, quality, and scope of project.
Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project.
Ensures the business team is providing timely inputs to the assigned tickets and reports any delay.
Manage change requests and coordinate with the Product Manager for further action.
Coordinate with business and vendors for the seamless execution of projects.
Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks.
Report and escalate risks to the management, as needed.
Prepare project status reports in coordination with the other PMO members.
Plan and run Agile Ceremonies as applicable Daily standup, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Demo and Sprint Retrospective meetings for the team.
Removes any distractions to the team that can hinder sprint progress.
Makes sure that the team follows agile practices and rules while working
Collaborates with other PMO members to improve the governance efficiency
Prepare project status reports in coordination with the other PMO members.
Runs the Monthly Executive meeting.
Demonstrated experience driving projects from initiation through closure.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal customers.
Experience in establishing and following controls to manage scope change and reporting project schedule/budget performance.
Qualifications
Must haves
4 6 years of project/program management work experience
2 3 years of working experience in an Agile Product Based environment
Preferred
ACP, SCRUM, PMP, Certifications or equivalent project management field of study
BS in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related degree that provide foundational skills that foster success in managing projects.
