IF CHOSEN CANDIDATE RESIDES OUTSIDE OF PG&E TERRITORY(i.e. Southern CA, etc.) SUPPLIER MUST PROVIDE LAPTOP(CITRIX LOG-IN) AND ANY ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR ASSIGNMENT. PG&E LAPTOP WILL ONLY BE ISSUED FOR A CANDIDATE WITHIN PG&E SERVICE TERRITORY. SUPPLIER REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT IF NEEDED.
Personal or Supplier provided cell phone required(no expense reimbursement).
ASSIGNMENT IS MAINLY REMOTE BUT THEIR MIGHT BE OCCASIONAL MEETINGS OR MEET UPS WITH STAFF.

Department Overview
Major Infrastructure Delivery (MID). The following are some of the key areas we are accountable for delivering in MID:
" 10,000 miles of electric distribution lines to reduce wildfire risk
" System Inspections to identify risks to safety and reliability
" Vegetation Management to ensure safe and reliable delivery of power
" Ensuring our work meets quality standards and is done right the first time
Position Summary
The Contract Vegetation PM functions as a liaison to Information Technology from the line of business, representing the end users and assists with gathering requirements, implementations, and support. The incumbent understands user needs as well as business procedures, processes, and systems for the corresponding department. The incumbent typically provides user support, assists in user acceptance testing of new tools and consults with the users on new technologies & features that may contribute to business process efficiencies.
Contractor may not perform Pre-Inspection, Tree Crew or Quality Assurance work for PG&E in any capacity. Ideally- they will have had experience with vegetation management in the past, but they cannot actively be performing this work for PG&E at time of hire.
Abilities:
1. Evaluate project data, and other project-related technical reports.
2. Provide qualitative and quantitative data analysis of field-collected data to identify deficiencies and support business changes.
3. Manage data input and output accordingly to provide technical support to designated PG&E operations.
Contract Vegetation PM (CVPM):
Minimum Qualifications:
1. As a supervisory level employee, at a minimum, a CVPM shall have an AA degree in forestry or a related field, and/or experience in vegetation management type work with another utility or tree service 2 years field experience equivalent.
2. Two (2) years' experience in utility arboriculture or equivalent as determined by the PG&E Representative.
3. The CVPM shall exhibit supervisory capabilities and be familiar with the Contractor's work practices, proper arboricultural techniques and practices, proper integrated pest management practices, PG&E's Tree Pruning Specification 5404, Pre-Inspection Specification 4851 and requirements, and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Creative problem skills to develop solutions.
2. Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver findings and recommendations to various levels of management.
3. Excellent organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
4. Adaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguity.
5. Experience with SalesForce strongly preferred
6. Jira experience or IT project experience
7. Advanced understanding of MS Office
Job Responsibilities:
1. Basic areas of responsibility are to assist the VM Technology
2. Help support operations and work on technology improvement initiatives, schedule, and coordination of VM activities.
3. At the discretion of the Program Manager, CVPM will work on an as-needed basis. The office location will be determined and strategically placed to cover the geographic service territory identified by the PG&E Representative. This activity will include, but not be limited to:
1. Assist with users at the direction of the Program Manager
2. At the direction of the PG&E Representative clarify Process (Vegetation Management technical explanations)
and assist with job aide development and user training.
3. Perform database "sleuthing to identify issues.
4. Assist with agency meetings and field visits to review VM work as directed by the PG&E Program Manager.
5. Assist with management of projects
6. Compiles supporting documentation for regulatory filings (General Rate Case /Wildfire Mitigation Plan).
