Barbaricum is seeking an Agile DevSecOps Manager to provide support to a rapidly growing program spearheading modernization and synchronization of Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM+) applications for USMC vehicles.

In order to realize the CBM+ capability, data collected from USMC ground vehicles is processed and analyzed using diagnostic, reliability, predictive trend, prognostic, and condition monitoring analysis. This data analysis will be leveraged to reevaluate maintenance strategies, capture demand, conductive preemptive maintenance, and create decision support tools. To support CBM+ objectives, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division is standing up an Azure cloud-based environment to aggregate, store, and further process ingested vehicle data.  Data will then be transferred to Jupiter, the Department of Navy (DON) enterprise data environment, for data analysis.

This position may be performed in a remote capacity (Eastern Time), with in-person requirements dictated by project/customer needs.

Responsibilities
    • Work with data engineers, data scientists, and other technical staff to facilitate the development of Development Plans that define project-level implementation processes, requirements, design, constructs, integrations, and associated testing software and firmware.
    • Provide close oversight of code development, ensuring that team members are following processes and working towards meeting project milestone deadlines.
    • Manage/oversee Jira tickets and GitLab activities across the team in support of senior engineering stakeholders and staff. This includes code commits/check-ins, branching, and merging.
    • Serve as liaison and interlocutor between technical and customer stakeholders to efficiently plan for and execute projects of various scale.
    • Provide recommendations to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, directives, policies and procedures.
    • Track and communicate team-level metrics and progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications
    • Active DoD Secret Clearance required
    • Bachelor's Degree required; degrees in technical/engineering fields are preferred
    • Demonstrated experience utilizing Jira and GitLab to monitor development activity - specifically, code commits, branching and merging
    • Experience supporting multidisciplinary technical teams through software development projects using agile or other software development methodology
    • Ability to respectfully hold others accountable to meet deadlines and follow processes
    • Ability to thrive in a high op-tempo environment with sometimes minimal guidance and structure
    • Exposure to computer design, software development or computer networks desired
