Trissential is currently seeking an Agile Coach to join our dynamic team in Lisle, IL (Hybrid -  onsite 2-3 day a week).


  • Defines, implements and manages strategies and is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Business Agility projects, combining general overall expertise with project management skills. 
  • Independently owns delivery of projects through deep technical knowledge and works closely with clients to develop an understanding of their business strategy, ensuring that the project infrastructure is managed to provide agreed levels of service. 
  • Foster an agile mindset within individuals, teams, and organizations to help them better meet their goals.
  • Coach across different stages of an organization’s agile journey, from introductory training and coaching to continuously improving high-performing teams.
  • Coach at varying levels of scale, from embedding within a single team to creating cohesion and alignment across an entire organization.
  • Work across the organization to help design and implement an effective Agile Transition for the business
  • Responsible for mentoring/coaching IT and business teams in a collaborative environment focused on achieving the effective Agile Transition.
  • Spinning up new teams and putting structures in place to assure their success
  • Azure DevOps Boards is the preferred method of sharing work information
  • Agnostic approach to lean and Agile frameworks, helping teams to choose their ways of working based on their environment and challenges
  • Implement effective governance, escalation and reporting
  • Recommend improvements and drive adoption of best practices  

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Has achieved a formal certification as a Scrum Master, Kanban Lead, Lean  Six Sigma certification or similar Agile approach.
  • Has achieved Certified Scrum Professional or a similar Agile qualification.
  • Proven evidence of Coaching skill development through experience and/or formal certification
  • Management qualification or relevant years of experience
  • ICAgile Coaching Agile Transitions certification
  • ICAgile Agile Coaching and/or Team Facilitation certification
  • ICAgile trainer, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Safe and/or Kanban certification
  • Agile training course development and delivery

  • Executive level presence and communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems  
  • Design thinking
  • Thorough understanding of agile principles, values and processes
  • Experience working at an organizational level to define what Agile means for the Enterprise 
  • High emotional intelligence and mature soft skills
  • Ability to work with strong stakeholders and to demonstrate strength and certainty to them
  • Works independently or well within a team
  • Wants to continuously grow knowledge base and skill set
  • Collaborative, consultative mindset
  • Works well in a fast paced environment
  • Strong technical background
  • Deep knowledge and curiosity about technology and systems
  • Agile mindset

  • Experience of working with multiple lean, safe and scaled Agile frameworks
  • 3 - 5 years experience in team level agile transitions
  • Experience coaching IT and Business teams
  • 5 + years experience of working in Agile environments
  • Mentoring and coaching skills/experience
  • Experience of establishing new teams
  • Ability to orchestrate multiple teams and manage
