This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic AgileBusiness Process Architectto join our team to efficiently support the successful delivery of a modern integrated digital platform that enables core aaS business motions at HPE against defined strategic objectives. This role involves defining, optimizing, and aligning Business Processes with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodology applied at scale, Business Process management (BPM), strategic planning, and technology alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Centric Software Delivery
    • Help transform software development into a product-centric approach that delights users and drives business success
    • Aligning development efforts with product goals
    • User centric mindset considering personas and customer journey maps
  • Agile Software Delivery
    • A deep understanding of iterative delivery and scrum  processes
    • Understanding of the agile scale of work and taxonomy
  • Business Process Frameworks and Taxonomies:
    • Develop and maintain Business Process frameworks and taxonomies.
    • Standardize process definitions and terminology across the organization.
  • Strategic Alignment:
    • Collaborate with business leaders to align capability investments with a clear vision and measurable goals.
    • Prioritize capabilities based on delivered value and strategic importance.
  • Mentoring and Coaching:
    • Mentor and coach Business Process engineers on BPM methodologies and best practices.
    • Foster a culture of process excellence and continuous learning.
    • Servant leadership
  • Process Analysis and Improvement:
    • Analyze existing Business Processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process effectiveness.
  • Facilitate Process Walkthroughs:
    • Lead functional and end-to-end process walkthroughs with stakeholders.
    • Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Business Architecture Repository:
    • Maintain a repository of process artifacts, including process maps, guidelines, and documentation.
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy of process information.
  • Governance and Standards:
    • Define and enforce Business Process Architecture governance and standards.
    • Establish guidelines for process design, documentation, and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Drive continuous process improvement efforts across the organization.
    • Monitor KPIs and track progress toward efficiency goals.
  • Technology Needs and Roadmaps:
    • Work closely with stakeholders to identify technology needs and opportunities.
    • Define roadmaps for delivering capabilities over time.
  • Change Management:
    • Communicate strategy effectively to all levels of the organization.
    • Address resistance to change and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
    • Influencing without authority
  • Innovation and Adaptation:
    • Foster a culture of innovation within the team.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices.
    • Adapt to changing business needs and market dynamics.

Desired Skills:

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align process improvements with overall business strategy.
  • Leadership: Capable of setting direction for the organization and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Visual Representation: Proficient in creating visual representations of Business Processes (e.g., process maps, flowcharts).
  • Data Literacy: Understand data models and definitions related to key business objects.
  • Technology Savvy: Leverage technology for process automation, monitoring, and management.
  • aaS Business Models: Experience with recurring revenue as a service business models including subscription and consumption-based services
  • SAP Billing & Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM): Experience with the SAP S4/Hana BRIM platform
  • SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM): Experience with SAP Subscription Order Management
  • Adaptability: Continuously adapt to changing business needs and market dynamics.

Education Required:

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent, required.  Business or Engineering.  MS, advanced degree preferred.
  • Training, certifications, professional associations membership

Work Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 7 + years of Agile software development and Business Process Management experience.
  • As-a-Service solutions development and operation
  • Product development, aaS process design and improvement
  • Program management across multiple projects
  • Experience driving operational efficiency with Aha! Roadmaps, Smartsheet, Workboard is a plus

USD Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
