Ag Equipment (tractor) Truck Driver

We’re hiring for an Ag Equipment Truck Driver based at our Greeley, Colorado location. In this role, your main responsibility is to drive a company-owned semi-truck and trailer to transport and deliver Ag Equipment along with other equipment that we sell and service to various locations to customers facility, safely in an efficient, timely, customer-centric way.

Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Shows leadership by presenting a clean, professional appearance which includes wearing Wickham logoed apparel and showing respect to customers and vendors and all times.
- Shows innovation by being part of the team and aiding in inventory warehousing and stocking, and the receiving of products.
- Complete all assigned tasks according to work order estimates and their daily work schedule.
- Accurately perform a pre-trip inspection that includes tires, fuel, oil, etc. Coordinate maintenance with proper personnel.
- Displays reliable attendance and schedules time-off with advance notice.
- At all times keep the Service Manager informed of operational, customer, vendor or employee issues that may arise.
- Promote the business with existing and potential customers.
- Projects a positive attitude to customers and employees at all times; exhibits good customer relations skills.
- Before loading, ensure units are fastened and secure. Make sure that all contents inside the cab are secure. After the unit is loaded, strap, chain, and/or boomer the unit down to secure the load to the trailer. This should be done using the proper method of load securing, according to the weight and unit being hauled.
- Support the Service & Sales departments with equipment delivery..
- Maintain records of pickup and deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and receipts.
- Maintain all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policy.
- Ability to handle ongoing interruptions while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.
- Complete all duties in a manner consistent with established safety policies and procedures, assist others in observing safety, and set an above-standard safety example.

Work Environment & Physical Abilities:
- Required to perform work inside and outside, in all-weather situations location.
- Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending, or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
- Manual dexterity, fine manipulation, and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.
- Accountable for all dealership owned tools.
- Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet business demands.
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Candidate must be a motivated individual who can work independently.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in all aspects of business, including communication with customers, employees, management, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented
- 2+ years’ experience as semi-trailer truck operator
- 1+ years’ experience in heavy hauling
In accordance with Wickham Tractor Company policies, this position does require the successful candidate to undergo a motor vehicle insurability screening.
