Our organization is currently expanding and we are looking for a caring, energetic, and dedicatedTeacher/Program Leader to help us lead a variety of program activities and to provide a positive and academically enriching after-school experience for our K-5th grade students. As a Club K Program Leader, you will work to create a classroom environment where children can THRIVE. You will organize and lead daily activities that are both educational and exciting.
Schedule - Part-time position, Monday-Friday afternoons, average 15-26 hours per week.
Location - Positions available: St. Ignatius School (SE Portland, OR) & Boeckman Creek (Wilsonville, OR)
Compensation - Starting hourly pay rate of $17.45+ DOE and level of education (increased hourly pay is available for highly qualified teacher applicants)
Qualifications:
Teachers must have ONE of the following -
- Experience teaching school-age children (K - 5th)
- Experience working or volunteering in a licensed childcare facility
- Completed teacher-qualifying certification(s) + trainings
- Any degree in the education field or 2 years of college-level courses
- An equivalent combination of childcare job experience and education
Club K will provide guidance on where and how to meet the following requirements -
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Food Handlers Certification
- Enrollment in the Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR)
- Additional $2/hour shift differential for hours worked in the AM shifts

Salary: $17.45 - $18.85 per hour
