What you will be doing:
- Lead dynamic after-school classes based on the curriculum we provide. We offer Cooking and science classes, you can teach both of just one of the programs.
- Cultivate a stimulating, inclusive and safe learning environment for students
- Provide structured and hands on classes
What we are looking for candidates that:
- Have experience working with children in diverse settings such as classrooms, enrichment programs, or community initiatives.
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Punctuality and Reliability
Your Schedule and Pay:
- Pay is $60 per class (class is 1 hour long)
- We will pair you up with the schools conveniently located near you
- All classes run around the same time starting between 3-4pm (depending on the school) in the afternoon and run for 1 hour. You can only teach 1 class per day or up to 5 classes per week.
LOCATIONS: Multiple locations available including Chicago (Lakeview, Lincoln Park, River North, Wicker Park, South Loop), Evanston, Skokie, Park Ridge, Oak Park and more
