Salary* Serious applicants apply only, please. In search of a dynamic, skilled, compassionate teacher for small class of first grader, beginning March 2024 Experience preferred. Will consider students enrolled in B.S.Ed college program. We provide differentiated instruction and social-emotional learning in a loving and positive environment. Hours are 3:00 - 5:30, M - F. Will consider 4-day week. Program runs from early October to end of May. We follow the Niagara Falls City School District calendar. Wonderful work environment. $25 - $30 per hour. - Create and implement engaging lesson plans for students
- Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment
- Teach foundational skills such as reading, writing, math, and science
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a well-rounded education experience
- Foster a love of learning and encourage student curiosity
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children
