SalaryThe Harker After School Instrumental Music Program is currently seeking an experienced Guitar Teacher for both private and group lessons.
Pay is $75 per hour.
- Experiencewith working with elementary level students ages 5-12
- Lessons areafter-school Mondays-Friday 3:30-6:30pm depending on enrollment, but are usually2-3days a week
- Guitar Group on Fridays
- Masters degree in performance and/or education preferred, but no required
- Private one-on-one teaching experience with general pedagogy, use of method books along with supplementary materials
- Conducting and leading group and ensembles for young students a plus
- Ability toteach ukulele and basshelpful, but not required
- Additional experience teaching through Zoom helpful, but not required
