After School Detention Supervisor Position
Time Allotment: Monday-Friday (2:45-3:45)
Possible Saturday
Contract Amount: $42.00 per hour (hourly rate reflects 2023-27 Collective Bargaining AgreementAll extra duty compensation, except as otherwise specified, shall be determined by multiplying the rate of percent in the following table by the base salary (Step 1, Level 1).
Requirements and Responsibilities:

• The approximate time listed for this activity does not include the contractual time required of all teachers After School.
• Monitors students during in School Detention/suspension for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment.
• Provides verbal and/or written feedback of observations for the purpose of informing teacher/s of students' progress.
• Monitor students assigned detention and address any undesirable student behavior using positive intervention strategies.
• Communicate with the building principal regularly to assure any unacceptable student behavior is addressed.
• Perform duties with awareness to all district requirements and board of education policies while modeling district standards of ethics and professionalism; implement policy/procedural changes from administration, the board of education, or state/federal changes.
• Supervise students at all times during After School Detention hours.
