Looking for a candidate who can teach and have a strong background in competitive sports Santa Paula. Be a part of an exciting, enrichment program nurturing 3rd-6th graders in advancing their abilities and providing them with a one-of-a-kind experience you can't get anywhere else. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, working in STAR’s Spring Break setting is a great place to start!*
- Hours: Tuesdays 2:15-4:15 pm
- Thursday 1:30-4:15 pm
- Fridays 1:30-6:00 pm
- $35 per hour
- Location: Santa Paula
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience teaching 3rd-6th grade students
- Must have knowledge of flag football, Track and Field, basketball, soccer, and indoor movement (dance, yoga, or none touch martial arts)
- Must have Reliable Transportation
- Must be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible
- CRP and First Aid Certified or willing to get certified
- Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels
- Ability to work in fast-pace environment

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently Lead groups of up to 14 students from 3rd-6th grade
- Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained in Classroom Management
- Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe, and enjoyable class experience for students
- Creative, artist thinking with the ability to do so under time constraints
- Create curriculum and execute them effectively
